This is our first post in a series on why smart women choose Metro9 by developer and arts enthusiast Chase Bosworth. Chase and her partner found both form and function in Metro9’s luxury condos in Somerville.
When my partner and I stepped into the beautiful homes at Metro9, I thought, “This place gets me!” I wanted a home that reflects my diverse interests while providing the convenience that modern life necessitates. Our choice to make Metro 9 our home has offered us the balance that we need and the luxury we desire.
A little bit about me
My life has been a bit unconventional. I grew up in Southern California, where my father began buying and flipping homes after retiring from professional football. I finished high school at about 15 years old and immediately went to work in hospitality.
I spent my afternoons painting and writing music, and evenings busing tables. Eventually I transitioned into wine and wine making, but new laws were passed that made growing grapes in our area nearly impossible. It was time to transition again! I started at a local community college, working away at the degree I always wanted.
When my partner and I were presented with the opportunity to start a new life in Boston, I leaped at the chance. I was fortunate enough to receive a full-scholarship to finish my degree at Tufts University through a program for adult students. Now in my last year of a graduate degree in computer science, fire-hosing machine learning as a MIT Lincoln Laboratory summer researcher, I look back at my life and still wonder how I got here.
Why I chose to call Metro9 home
When I first stepped into the foyer of Metro 9, I instantly recognized the care and sophistication of the building’s design. The thoughtful melding of textures, refined details and stunning amenities were truly alluring.
But form isn’t everything. For me, function holds the trump card. Fortunately, that’s where Metro9 excels.
It’s a rare thing to find a home that celebrates every facet of your life, yet Metro9 rises to the occasion. With a dedicated arts room, a quiet passion I had put aside has found a new stage.
As the daughter of a professional athlete, fitness has always been a cornerstone of my life. The well-appointed, 24-hour fitness center offers me the convenience to make every day training a part of my life.
As a developer and technology enthusiast, the location of Metro9 puts me smack dab in the middle of (and walking distance from!) one of the fastest growing tech centers in the world.
And as a dedicated dog mom, the dog washing station and nearby parks has our little guys living their best life. To the point, the convenience offered at Metro9 makes my busy life simple.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that the most precious commodity in life is time. Living at Metro 9 gives me the priceless gift of time, so I never have to compromise.
